I dunno about the Neverwinter thing... I sure hope so! Then again, it will probably all get screwed by ******* hackers importing a few Celestial Furies in their inventory... I hate those people!

About the Boots of Speed:

There are 2 pairs in the game (yeah I like it too Image ). One is in the Astral Prison involved in the Haer'Dalis quest. Another is in the Asylum in the "slots machine". Just put 15 mithril tokens in the thing and you'll get the Paws of Cheetah. You'll have a few tokens left to get some other crap boots.

I don't wanna kill all hopes but you're not likely to keep your stuff. When importing directly from BG2 into a server all your XP and your equip are erased and you'll be level 1 again. All in all there's no big difference from creating a new one.

forgot smth.: It might be that you can import your char with equip in single-player mode and THEN import this single-player into a server. But a Vault-(=legit)character is created on the server(=no XP,no items).

btw. to make the confusion complete, each server(each world) will have it's own rules, restrictions and filters for imported characters. It moght occur that you'll be able to play one specific world and another not...
