i wouldn't go so far to say i was a fan, but i do appreciate their music, the lyrics of many of their songs apply to everyday situations, not a day goes by where a line from a smiths song doesn't come into my head, why do you ask?

That's very close to a line from a Smiths song,

Ubik is a member on this forum it was a joke, i did get the inspiration for that quote from that song.

Isn't it 'naturally fled' not 'happily fled'?

Odd, I normally listen to electronic like Frontline Assembly, Delerium, 242, etc...

And, of course, Pink Floyd

My favorite line is,

Not to bash your musical prefernce, but me i have only ever heard of pink floyd (out of your list) it is refreshing to talk to someon who doesn't listen to D12, Linkin Parj or Dr Dre

Johnny Marr did work with another band, can't remember who off hand though. I saw morrisey a few years back on Jools Holland, did a track called 'Boy Racer' still sticks with me even now after about 6 years

Thats a pretty good song off of 'Southpaw Grammar'. Not a very good album overall, IMHO. Morrissey's best solo, again IMHO, is 'Viva Hate' or perhaps 'Bona Drag'

) Nine Inch Nails, (this is going to sound like a cliche) i kind of like their early work, some of those bass lines are excellent

Well, that would be a long list.

I can say I generally DO NOT like country, rap, boy bands like Nsync and pretty much anything else played on the radio. I do like some hip hop like Beastie Boys, Tribe Called Quest, DJ Shadow, etc
