However, I do have a tattoo of Miyamoto Musashi covering my entire back. Is that relevant?

Of all the revolting things out there, that's the one you won't do?!Originally posted by Aegis:

@Georgi: The fact you even suggested that I had cybered is insulting! It is one thing that I find truly revolting, and you accused me of doing it...I'd expect that from Veh, but not you...

Believe it or not, I was approached repeatedly when I was playing a popular online CRPG to cyber. My character had really grown powerful over the years (not my fault, I just liked having him sit around, telling stories and casting a weird spell that gave everybody a disk that followed 'em around--kind of a self-propelled luggage carrier). Several virtual females wanted to move up quickly in the ranks; he had stats, spells, and goodies; and they wanted to trade cybering for access.
I always kept in character, smiled, and backed away pleasantly. But in reallife, I was kind of repelled. Virtual sex for virtual advancement. This was too close to a seedy kind of reality you read about in bad novels.

Speaking of cybering for advancement, do you know that some virtual items in some online games have been auctioned off by players, to other players, for more than 2000 US Dollars?

It's crazy, when you think that some of these bits of virtual code are going for more than many families see in a year's income. I can just see going to the door of some shanty and saying, "Pardon me. I'm going to give you the choice of a reasonably decent little house, free food and clothing for a year, medicine, repairs to your car--or, you can have this virtual +3 Broadsword that does lightning attacks 10% of the time. Which will it be?"Originally posted by Darkpoet:
Yeah, you can bid on ebay for those items too.
