It depends on who's death it is. Why, who is dying? If you need to get rid of the body, just put it though a wood chipper. But, make sure you spray it out into the water.

God, I love being sick. :D

The wood chopper idea reminded me of a horrible story I heard from one of my best friends, who is a forensic psychologist...No detailes, but a lot of chopping an baking stuff in an own was involved...But, they got the perpertrator by her DNA :)

[Quote]Read my sig.

Silent
Silent.
That is you.
In two senses of the word.
First, there is the obvious implication.
But then, there is that unspoken undertone that lies right beneath the surface.
The very thought of the words, I’m sure, sends shivers through your body.
Frail, small body,
Yet capable of so much.
So you wait and watch and listen,
Close-mouthed, pale lips pinched together,
Afraid of hearing your own meek voice not to mention uttering those dreadful words.
Because, when the world ends,
You will also end.
And then there will be silence again.
And you would rather be silent now than then[Quote]

...I read it, NOW I feel like suicide...
I mean, what is this?! Some weird Sailor Moon poem...

@Average Joe

thanx dude. Its been a while ago, like about 4 years. Took a long time to deal with it. I think it's harder to deal with than when someone just dies.

On a serious note.
Bloodstalker, you are right. It's hard to forget, when friends die. It down right sucks, when it is a sucide. I lost a good friend of mine. He killed himself, about three months ago. The part that is bad about it, I saw him about an hour after he hung himself. Nobody knew until then, even know I have seen alot of death, it was still a shock. Looking at someone who you grew up with, is hanging there dead.

I had another friend, who I went to firefight training and parmed school with. Was killed in a building fire, when the floor collapsed from under him.

I joke about death, it's the way I deal with it. I have seen so much usless deaths, it can wear me down. Becoming a fireman, made me realize how, death is cheap and lonely.

I'm not a really callous person, but I have to deal with what I see everyday. Being twisted and sick is one of them.

Death is natural. The will to live is natural. Pleas for help and attention are also natural. Just take care of yourself however you can because everyone has problems. I bet you would percieve some to be a lot worse than yours!!! Hell just watch Springer for a day or two. ;)

@Bloodstalker: I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I think it's natural that most people take a suicide harder than when death occurs due to an accident or a disease. A suicide leaves so many questions behind: Why? Couldn't we have done something? One of the things I found hardest when I worked as a clincial psychologist, was to meet the family when a patient had commited suicide.

@DP: I'm very sorry to hear about your friend. I don't think it matters how many dead people we have seen, it's still different when it's a friend. The chief pathologist at the hospital where I work, was killed in a car accident a while ago. Even though all the pathologists working there are used to seeing many dead people every day, it was a total shock for everyone when their boss lied there on the dissection table Monday morning.

I don't see death very often, and when I do, it is usually suicides or death from diseases like asthma or diabetes that people with severe psychiatric illness can't take care of. But from what I've seen, I agree with you here, DP.

*sigh* Some people have no understanding of things. The question was "what does everyone think of death?" If you don't get what I think of death out of my sig, then you don't need to know. I was indicating the "I am the soldier of destruction and rebirth..." *just noticed that it says "destruction" instead of "death"* *sigh* Damn censors. *heads to her profile to fix that, wondering what she was on when she mistyped it* That poem in my sig is about me. Not only am I the soldier of death and rebirth, I'm also chinmoku no senshi, the soldier of silence. My attacks, Death Reborn Revolution and Silence Glaive Surprise, have the power to destroy the world, but they kill me, too.

"Life is not lived, it is merely survived, standing outside the fire."~Garth Brooks, Standing Outside The Fire

I was suicidal at one time, but then I realized how I feel about my best friend. I told her how I feel and now she's my girlfriend and I haven't felt suicidal since.

On a lighter note, I tried getting professional help once, but the psych lady I went to became the psycho lady by the end of the session. Image

A friend of mine who I hadn't seen for a while committed suicide a number of years ago. She'd gone through a bad divorce, and was a modestly successful stage actress, but that wasn't enough to keep her kid. She didn't let anyone know about the pain, and took an overdose.

Like I said above, it was an egotistical act. It was a denial that anything in the universe mattered above her pain of the moment, that anybody else's pain mattered, that existence itself had anything to offer. Suicide is pure existentialism. It is a mirror held up to a mirror. Somewhere in there, the person is lost, falling through a series of ever louder reverberating emotional images.

I hope she's gotten over her pain by now, but such things take time, and who says death is an instant solution for anything? What a damn shame. What a cost.

@KK, I have it on good authority that eventually the situation you describe will change. I would recommend you consider placing your belief of a "good life" on some other foundation.

Okay. I've had it with this black topic. With special permission, I've decided to sub for Death, and form a panel of one. You can now ask your questions, and I'll answer. :)

Oh, and I will *not* pose with any cheesecake. You tabloid journalists can go get a life, metaphorically speaking.
