GameBanshee.com Contest

Post by Rev »

GameBanshee.com will be having a contest coming very soon in the near future, but we want to know what you would like to win... Sorry no sports cars, servers, small animals are available. Let us know what you want cuz we'll try to get it to ya.

Depends on what the contest is. If I have to answer an Icewind Dale trivia question a GameBanshee.com t-shirt will do. If I have to guess Buck's IQ or Rev's weight, I'd be looking for a free copy of DNF (Duke Nukem Forever).

The General, well for your copy of DNF the number sure wouldn't be very high... although currently my IQ and weight are about even... It would be a random sign-up and win....

I'm thinking it should be about a game that you guys are going to feature next. Like maybe have people write a walkthrough or a tip/tricks section for the game at a certain area. That way the contestants need to do a little digging and you guys get to pick the best tip/trick/walkthrough to put up on the site (thusly saving a little work for you guys and the contestants get a feeling of community).

Just looking over the poll you guys have on the main page and seems as though most of those games have been pushed back till Q1 or Q2 of next year. Only one that looks like it will make it's deadline is Rune. Not exactly the sort of game you guys seem to specialise in(RPG) but still it looks great. Heres another idea. Giants should make it out before the end of the year.

PS. For anyone that cares RUNE will hit stores sooner than I though and if you register over at http://www.3dfxgamers.com/ you can get the demo days before the rest of the public.

Maybe it could be a gamepad or joystick or voice comander.
But by waiting for a new game that could space out the contests good.

I have attempted to contact Viconia deVir but currently she is vacationing in Southern France and thus was unavailable for comment. I like the Pet Rocks idea but I was thinking more along the lines of a snowball or a hamster.....

How about a copy of NWN? Just a thought. Everyone here is awaiting that game, and I know I would enter for a chance at that.

I am currently working on getting Mattel Interactive to sponsor a contest for GameBanshee. So hopefully our first contest would be something to do with Pool of Radiance.
