Gwalchmai felt more useless than usual. His druidical training had never progressed far enough to even be able to help with a resurrection. A few small healing spells. The Drow poison had been too much for Slow Poison.....
But something seemed strange. The tall, bearded knight that was working incantations over Georgi looked like Anomen, moved like Anomen, but something....
No sound! This Anomen was moving his lips, but not speaking! As a druid, Gwalchmai sought balance, completeness, but here, in this figure before him, he could only sense imbalance, incompleteness. He moved to the figure as a white light enveloped Georgi. Anomen looked up at Gwalchmai with sad, tired eyes. Suddenly, Gwachmai knew. This figure was but a part of the whole, somehow separated from the rest. The good, the love that resided in Anomen was here, while the rest was elsewhere, probably drowning its sorrows with mead and cheap women in the Copper Coronet.
Then, Gerogi drew her first ragged breath, with a small whimper like a newborn child. Everyone else sighed with joy to see Georgi alive again, and moved to help her in her weakened state. No one noticed as Anomen faded away before Gwalchmai’s eyes. Gwalchmai thought he heard Anomen’s voice silently pleading, “Join me and me again...”
(ooc: how's this for a twist?)

That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.
Moving through the passageway with ease. Darkpoet came up to the hatchway, lifting it slowly. Peering around, he did't see any Drow at all. Dark Knights patroled the city. Slowly closing the hatchway, Darkpoet made his way back. As he climb down, he heard Georgi take a breath. He stood watching as those rushed to help her. He was happy, but something still bugged him, about what he had just seen.
Kramor saw DP standing there. Going over to him, Dp just nodded.
"How's Loner?"
"She's fine, she will be a little sore. I thought you would be happy, with Georgi being alive?"
"I am. But, we have other problems. I found a passageway, Darius told me about it. There are no Drow in the city. It's full of Dark Knights."
"Damn, that means Waverly is here. So we don't have much time. What are we going to do with the injuried?"
Darkpoert shook his head.
"Georgi can't go anywhere. Loner should rest a bit more. Right now I don't know what to say."

Vivien came back from 'cleaning up' a few corpses with Dragonwench, which mostly included rolling them with their feet and kicking dust over them.
"It seems we may need to rest a bit, but I am no healer. I can cast group invisibility to hide us during the night if this is preffered?"
Jennabard looked up from her kneeling position while she sorted through her pack and shrugged in response.
Vivien turned to the rest of the group seeing such sorrow in some, how could physical rest cure this?
"I know...we don't know what we can do about Anomen." She said quietly. "And I know we don't know what lies ahead. But, we are Dark Flames... Bright and strong...
Each life is a thread woven, twinned together. Each strand is easily plucked, but the longer we are together, we pull tighter and stronger together. Only together can our brightness push back this wrongness."
Vivien blushed when she realized others were looking at her quietly, and pushed some hair strands out of her face.
"Well, anyway, I am with you no matter what falls. What shall we do now?"

{OOC Gwalchmai, you always come along and save this thread, don't you?
}
Loner was thoroughly sick. She collapsed against the wall and slid down. "Ehh, believe it or not, I am ready to go whenever everyone else is. I don't care what you do with Anomen, to tell you the truth, though I am grateful for what he did. Right now my main concern is Waverly." Then she drifted off to sleep again.

Georgi was alive, but barely. She drifted in and out of consciousness.

Gwalchmai summoned a spirit animal, a small lizard with very large eyes, to keep watch. He cast what healing spells he could on Georgi, then settled down to rest. Thanks to the various protections, including a large dragon hiding in the shadows, 8 hours passed uneventfully.
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.
Kramor walked though the Drow city, death was all around him. Dark Knights and his friends. DP, Loner, Georgi, Darius, Vivien Dragon Wench, Jennabard, Keldorn, Ryan, and Gwalchmai. A mist covered the area, he heard laughter behind him. Kramor turned seeing Waverly, he charged and ran a sword through him. Waverly knocked him away, just as Waverly was about to stab him with his own sword.
Kramor awoke with a start, seeing that everyone was sleeping.

Hearing Georgi, muttering. Kramor went over to her, when he touched her forehead, she was burning up. He grabbed the whiskey.
"Georgi, Georgi, drink this come on, drink it. It will help fight the fever."
Georgi drank some, choking on it. Kramor put his hand on the area where the wound was. Used his healing powers to fight the infection.

Georgi felt like she was floating rather than walking. She saw Anomen, and smiled.... but suddenly he pushed her aside, and his mace clashed with... another Anomen! She watched in confusion as they fought. One of the Anomens finally beat down the other, and turned towards her. She scrambled back, afraid, but his face was kindly. He offered a hand, and helped her up.
As she took it, his face changed, and he was no longer Anomen, but Waverly, who plunged a dagger into her.
Georgi blinked her eyes open in response to the stinging pain in her wound.
