Whomever you happen to be romancing...male or female will get turned to vampire by bodhi when you go to the graveyard district to confront her for the final battle. You will be forced to kill them at the final battle...however, they can be brought back...there is a thread in here somewhere about how to do that.

yes he does as far as i know, there is a way to turn him back to normal without too much bother, there are many threads about it, check one of those for the answer

After he/she gets turned into a vamp, kill him/her and Bodhi and then grab Bodhis heart and his/her body. take them to the temple ruins above the Umar Hills. inside there is a statue that is holding out its arms. place both the heart and the body there and the person will be ressurected as good as new.

The last game I played was a Male fighter and he romanced Aerie, Bodhi didn't turn her into a vampire

I believe it depends on how far into the romance you are if this happens or not.
