"Yes, I suppose I could change my dress as well. We shall meet there?" She asked as he turned away, but he was soon gone into the shadows, and Vivalie turned away.

As she was passing the bar again, the bustle in her dressed caused her to knock a paper from the counter, and reading it she looked around for someone named 'Mistress GiGi'.

She handed it to the 'happy' women talking to the well dressed man, whispering that it was a resume from a young woman named 'Vixen', before turning to hurry back to the hotel.

Ms T busied herself restocking the ammo supply. With all the activity in town, there'll be a run on bullets for sure. She thought to herself. So many strangers in town. I wonder what they're all up to.

Darkpoet walked into the store, this time he someone there.
"Hi I would like to buy some am........"
Darkpoet reconized Ms. T, an old friend from his train robbing days.
"This is not good." He thought.

Loner wanted to bang her head against a hard surface till she rendered herself unconscious. She took a deep breath. "Ohhh...God, Kramo, I'm sorry," she said. "I thought maybe...never mind...uhh, the guy was...hard to describe actually. Had a growly kind of voice, really raspy; chewed tobacco...had his hat pulled down, I think he had a mustache..."

She stopped. "That doesn't help very much, does it?"

Handing Kramo's badge back to him, she went on, hesitatingly: "I am sorry, Kramo. I want to help you get...whoever it is you're after. The rustlers? Tell me what I can do."

Ms T's eyes widened as she recognized DP. "Oh dear, we need to talk. Come in to the back for a moment."

Darkpoet followed T to the backroom. "Nice store you have here, how long have you been here? So this is what you did with the money, while I was in the Yuma state prison."

Ms T looked at her former partner. "DP, what did you expect me to do? Hang around and wait for the rest of the gang to catch up to us? I've been here for a couple of years now, I'm on the up and up. I tried to see you..never mind...What are you doin' here?"

"Loner, it's alright. You didn't know, you just can't tell the sheriff. I don't know who to trust other than you. Just keep your eyes open. I'm staying in room two at the hotel."

Kramo watched Darkpoet, go into the store. He knew that wasn't good, DP was fast with a gun and he hit what he shot at.

"Also leave that gent alone that just went into the store. With him here, that means bad news."

"You don't have to worry, about the rest of the gang. I took care of them. You really are on the up and up? That's good to hear, I'm happy for you. I need two boxes of forty-fours and a case of dynamite. I have a mine that I'm working on."

Walking closer to Ms T, he whispered.
"You're still as pretty as the first day I metcha."

"A mine huh?" T eyed DP suspiciously. "I hope that's true." She got DP's supplies for him. Then she whispered "DP, I still have your share of the money hidden. I kept hoin' you'd get out of that place.We'll talk later, I don't want a customer overhearing us."

Surprised to hear that from Ms. T, he smiled and tossed the saddle bags to her.
"Here is some more, put with the rest. I'll be seeing you around. Oh, what kind of sheriff do you have here?"

"Our sheriff is an upstanding citizen...and completely honest. He's not one that can be bought. His deputy seems pretty smart too..you be careful." Ms T flashed DP a smile.

Vivalie struggled with her corset while she changed, not wanting to call a maid and thus alert others to her actions.
After a bit of falling and cursing she managed to get into a dark blue split skirt, and tucking her pistol in her bodice, setting a hat on her head, and grabbing a spare set of handkerchiefs, she felt ready to experience the 'wild west'.

Darkpoet gave her a wink, as he left the store. As he was walking to his horse, he had a feeling he was being watched. Looking out of the corner of his eye, he saw the deputy looking at him.

Seeing the deputy enter the saloon, Gigi excused herself as Waverly ordered more drinks, and sidled over.

"Excuse me, ma'am, but I have a little information that might interest you..."

Loner turned from her sasparilla and looked in momentary surprise at the woman standing before her. "Oh," said Loner. "I...sorry, I thought I knew you from somewhere. Guess not. So tell me this information?..."

"The stranger," she said, gesturing at Darkpoet as he left the General Store, "he was in here earlier. Met some woman, and they acted awful funny. One minute she's acting like she don't know him, next they're real close, if you get my drift, and they leave together... I thought you ought to know, is all."

Darkpoet walked by Waverly's, snake oil wagon, then on to the saloon. He walked up to the bar, ordered a beer. Looking around, he tipped his hat to the ladies. Sipping his beer, a huge explosion went off outside. Waverly's snake oil wagon went up in smoke. Darkpoet smiled in his beer.

Loner nodded. "Thank you," she said. "I think I may know just exactly what that's about. Ah, listen -- you be careful, especially around Doc Waverly there. I know him from way back. If you need anything, the name's Loner, I'll be at the jail."

Loner barely had time to think how odd that sounded...before she felt the blast. The saloon's windows shattered.

"Guess I'd better check this out," she sighed...
