"What the hell happened here?,"Brink questioned himself as he looked at his injured deputy and the near lifeless body beside her.
"Of course I have a wagon, just wait right here," the Sheriff answered as his deputy posed him a question.Brink quickly sprinted back to his shack and returned with an old,beat-up wagon

Darkpoet slips back into town. And shoots the two men just for telling a sick joke. Darkpoet then jumps on his horse and rides away. YEEHAWOriginally posted by Gwalchmai:
<STRONG>Two old men sat in front of the General Store, leaning their chairs against the wall, oblivious to all the grand doin's in the town. As they whittled, they spied a dog in the street. The dog suddenly sat and began licking its own crotch. "You know, Jeb?" the first old man said, "Sometimes I wish I could do that."
"I know what you mean, Ned," the second old man said, "But I just know that dog would bite me!"

Big Bad Bob rose to his feet. Nodding at Bucho, who in turn did the same. "I'm sure he'll be fine, Mam" spoke Big Bad Bob to the still somewhat distraught deputy. No response was heard. "If you'll excuse me folks, I've some urgent matters to attend to" he continued as he began to walk away. Bucho stopped in his tracks as he passed Waverly. Looking suspiciously at him for the better part of a minute, "Do I... know you?" he enquired hesitantly. Big Bad Bob, turned to see what was going on.
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

The sheriff grabbed his deputy by the arm as they brought the body of KramoR towards the town hospital,"I think it's time you told me everything about yourself and this person....."

No, he did not
As rickety as Brink's contraption looked, it was the best that could be had, and with Brink driving, Kramo in the back, and Loner riding shotgun, they sped off to the very closest hospital they could possibly find. {PHEW!! Finally...}
And not only that, but they actually arrived, and the doctors said they would do what they could...

(OOC no problem Gwalch couldn't let a character like that go to waste now, could I? *big hug* back )
Gigi watched helplessly as the crowd spilled out into the street to see the action. She sighed, and followed.
She was shocked to see Kramor being carried off on a wagon. Thinking back, she realised that she hadn't seen Darkpoet in the audience as she had expected.
Gwalchmai ran over to the door. "Bah! Those uncultivated louts will come to appreciate your amazing talents one day, Miss Gigi."
Gigi nodded, not really listening, wondering how much Darkpoet knew. "I'm going back to my dressing room," she said absentmindedly, and walked off.

"Uhh...not much," said Loner. "that's about it, really..."
Just then a doctor approached in a bloody apron. His expression was grave (pun intended ).
"You're the ones who brought in the shooting victim?" he asked. Brink and the deputy nodded. "Well," the doctor sighed, "he's in very bad shape...I don't know if he'll pull through or not, he's lost a lot of blood..."

As Gigi had suspected, there was nobody in her dressing room. Darkpoet, if it was indeed him, wasn't foolish enough to come back to town so soon. She decided to see what she could find out, hoping that Kramor would be ok. Strolling casually into the street, she saw Doc Waverly, and hurried over to him. "Oh my goodness, Doctor, who would do such an awful thing?"
Who, me?!?
*Before the doctor approaches*
"It's okay,I will not press further if you feel uncomfortable talking about him,"Brink pats his deputy's shoulder,"Know that you can always come to me whenever you need someone to talk to "
*The story continues *

"I don't feel uncomfortable at all, Boss," said Loner. "It's just, I told you everything I know. We grew up together, and I haven't seen him in a very long time. His parents were killed recently. Eh...that's really all, Boss."
With every word Loner mentally kicked herself; she hated lying, especially to Brink ( ). But she had given her word, and her word was her bond.
Loner wondered where the shooter had gone; she would have gone after him right then, but couldn't leave Brink without transportation...
