hmmm, as I see it the intent isn't there but it does come off a bit nasty. don't blame you or anyone else.
kensai/mage is an incredible dual-class!! It's a natural thing since both don't wear armor, and when you dual your kensai you get one lean, mean fighting machine who can cast amazing spells as well!

Huntress is, of course, on the mark. If you want the easiest road up, the dual class kensai/mage is the way to go. I played one in my second run through. Using spells alone, he was able to get a -10 AC pretty quickly; and it just got better from there.
