"Rena?"

I read in an old post on another forum that someone had pickpocketed a pair of boots of speed from "Rena." Does anyone know who this is or where I could find them? Thanks.

BTW Does anyone know exactly how many pairs of boots of speed there are in the game? I have 5 by the end of ToB, plus the Grandmaster's armour to speed up my characters, but would prefer if there was 1 more pair so I could use a different armour (armour of thorns(?)looks cool).

It was probably a tuypo. It was probably supposed to say "Renal" as in Bloodscalp

Thanks. I didn't realise he had boots of speed on him - better go and try pickpocketing him now.

He doesn't have any boots of speed on him. I drank potions of master thievery until pick pocket skill was 280 (cap?) but all I got was potions and rings. Does anyone know the location of other pairs of boots of speed?

Well, theres that one in the planar prison.Another pair somewhere else in SOA, can't remeber where, might be in Planar Sphere.There's the third off Illasara, and you can buy 1 more pair in Saradush.Those are the only 4 i found, maybe more in Watchers Keep.

Renal has a pair, but you can only obtain it by killing him (and Arkais Gath).

1)SoA. Astral Prison on Haer'Dalis quest.
2)SoA. Assylum vending machine.
3)SoA. Off Renal Bloodscalp (must kill an immortal).
4)ToB. Illasara's loot.
5)ToB. Arkana Archives store.

I think there is one more pair that I've forgotten.

I think there are only 5 boots in the game, located in the astral prison, the token machine in the asylum, illasera, saradush, and from renal if you use cheese to kill the immortal guy so you can kill renal himself.
