Your current machine
I just got a call earlier this evening that our new computer is ready for installation. It's got an AMD Athalon 1330 CPU, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive space, and a 64 MB ATI Radeon video card. My understanding is that the thing is so fast, I only need to think about putting a piece of software on it, for the software to already be loaded and running.
This will be replace my state-of-the-art computer from 2 years ago: a P2450 with a 4 MB video card and 128 MB RAM. At the time, it was sensational. Now, it looks at some of the more caffeinated 3D games, and faints.
So what machine do you use? I know there are at least a few folks in SYMland who have comparable or better computers than the one I'm expecting. What have you got, and why?

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
@Fable...your computer makes mine look like a calculator
I have a Gateway...450 processor...4mb video card...15GB HD..192mb ram..17in Monitor.
Other than this I have no idea what I have.
My next computer will be built from the idea's I get from you and the rest here at GB.

*sigh* There was a time when my PIII 450 was the fastest machine at our LAN parties... but now it's feeling a little dated. Recently upgraded RAM to 320MB (it was gonna be 256, but the cost was much the same so I fugre what the heck). And Voodoo3. On a weedy little 15" monitor. (Also a Gateway. Mostly ) I can't really justify the cost of upgrading considering the amount of gaming I do...
Oh, and umm... 26GB HD. Room aplenty for full install and no-CD-swapping bliss...

Who, me?!?
I got mine about a month ago. Its a Athlon 1.2GHz, 256MB RAM, 30Gb HDD and a GFORCE2MX with 64MB of RAM. Before that I was using a P2 233 with 64MB RAM with no 3D accelerator video card for 3 years. The only problems with it is the CPU gets really hot and BG2 somehow freezes in the middle of the game when I use the 3D accelerator. Don't know why but I see no difference without using it for BG2.
No signature at this point in time
My home computer is a celeron (no laughing from the audience ) 466 somewhat overclocked to 500, 128MB RAM, 32MB GeForce DDR, Creative Labs Live value, Cambridge soundworks 4 point speakers, Microsoft Intelligent eye mouse, Default standar keyboard, Viglen (? ) monitor, ATX case, Award BIOS, Win 98 V1, CD-RW Adaptec, Table by Ikea, leather chair from Viking, Dirt from front room, dust from Humans and animals alike (i probably have the dustiest machine in the world ) Clock fron pound shop, other clock from woolworths, screws from..... well you get the idea
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.
Current: AMD 350 with 128Mb Ram. PCI128 sound, Diamond Max Video with 8Mb RAM, 13GB hard drive(s), 19" Monitor, 42X CD ROM.
To be built soon: AMD T-Bird 900 with 256Mb RAM. PCI128 sound (good enough for me), TNT 2 video card with 32Mb Ram, 40GB HDD, 16x12x8 VelocoCD/RW, and I'll keep my 19" monitor.
EDIT: without replacing the monitor I can build the 'new' system for under $1000.
