What I dislike about UK
The welfare state, financed by us tax payers, leave UK citizens on the breadline whilst compensating for the abuse by bogus asylum seekers and people who claim benefit and 'work on the side'
It rains all the time
We loan large amounts to third world countries when charity should start at home and we have hundreds of elderly dying each year through hypothermia because they cannot afford heating bills
NHS waiting lists are too long and staff so underpaid they cannot afford to live in the cities they work in
The steel works/mining/wool and car industries have died a slow death. The natural gas industry is dictated to by OPEC. We have no national industry left.
Football hooligans
We are one of a very few Western nations that still fear terrorism on a too regular basis
Social Services are so tied up in bureaucracy children at risk are not identified soon enough
Our supposedly cosmopolitan country is becoming completely divided, with racial hate and violence becoming more of a way of life for too many people
A doctor already disciplined by the medical council can go on to murder nigh on 300 people
The Government and shadow cabinets are so obsessed with Europe they miss what is happening on their own doorstep
More and more women (and men!) are forced back to work after having a family for financial reasons leaving the most crucial years of your children’s life in the hands of others when they would prefer to stay at home
Ofsted are now taking on pre-school care and insisting all carers of children under 5 should hold NVQ level 3. I would much prefer the carer(s) of my children remembered their favourite books/songs and recognised when they needed a cuddle than have letters after their names. Now, apparently, pre-school carers are not allowed to have any physical contact with the children which includes comforting a distressed baby or sitting a child on their knee to read a book. Pre-school is supposed to be an extension of the home not formal education.
So called ‘Liberal’ attitudes placing great emphasis on being politically correct…
Your vote in a general election is not worth the paper it is written on
With VAT on fuel it is only a matter of time before they tax kids clothes and staple foods
Excise duty
What I like about the UK
It is my home and home to my family. Despite all it's faults - there are worse places to live...
