Any word on BG3?

Is there going to be a Baldur's Gate 3, and if yes, when? Thanx.

I haven't heard anything about it.
And I hope they finish NwN before even think about creating a BG3.

It would also be concivable that if a BG3 is made, that it will be made on NwN-experience.

Actual, Bioware and Interplay annouced a few months back that Throne of Bhaal would be the last installment in the Baldurs Gate series (For PC anyway). If you really can't accept that, then try out BG: Dark Alliances for the PS2.

I wish some company with a knack for quality development would take on the Infinity engine, and keep turning up more games. Arguably it's lifespan hasn't run out--at least, judging by all the people who play BG2, BG1, P:T, IWD, etc.

I heard, a while back, that there would be more BG games; the only thing that ended in ToB was the Child of Bhaal storyline. There may be future games with different storylines. Which I think would be cool. But I don't know...has anyone else heard this?...
