Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 2.20 metres tall for a dwarf, considering it translates into 6 feet or so...

Well, hell, I am hooked now.

have read a good portion of the Dark Flame threads, and can see many hours in my immediate future finishing it. And I have work and college classes to deal with. I hope you people are happy.

in other words, I am enjoying reading through it immensely, and am trying to figure out whether or not I am capable of contributing after I am done, if there are no objections from any of the writer's.

I am truly impressed that you have managed to read so much of the DF saga (btw, there will be a quiz tomorrow, that is if any of us can actually remember what we wrote

).....Beware....if you decide to contribute school,work, family and friends will suffer even further

I obviously can't speak for everyone but I figure given the sudden influx of new writers now would be as good a time as any to join in the fun

Yeah it is, but seeing Gatok isn't a dwarf so it doesn't really matter. His creator took it's inspiration from both dwarves and giants, and he was raised by dwarves in the time they had not yet ventured out of the mountains that where their home. So Dwarvish Giant is the best I can do in describing him.
