Lost Item

Post by gemini12 »

Ok, so I'm a dope and I don't want to start the game over, but I dropped the shaft to the Gesen Bow somewhere before Chapter Four and I've been trying to retrace my steps with no sucess. Any ideas how to find this thing before I go crazy?

No idea, you could just try using clua codes or shadowkeeper to get the complete item, since the money it takes to combine th etwo parts isn't that hard to get...
If I asked, would you answer? Its your problem. Its a deep, deep problem. I have no way to ask about that... I have no elegant way of stepping into your heart without tracking in filth. So I will wait. Someday, when you want to tell me, tell me then. -Bleach

I find that I used to continually have problems with items going missing, the main reason that this happens seem to be that if your party leader / main character constantly have a full inventory and when NPCs give your character things for completing quests etc. and those things have no space to go into the inventory then other items get dropped to make room. (bloody anoying isn't it)

I found that the bag of carrying helps alot with this because it enables your main character to carry all the odds and sods without filling up inventory space. The only other way to stop this is to utilise other characters inventory to carry all the junk a party can accumilate
Just remember, everyone is entitled to my opinion

Press TAB and move the screen around (or around on the sreen). Every interesting objects are then higlighted. This method is 10 times faster than moving the cursor randomly around to stumble over new/lost objects.

Thanks for the tips, I'll get on it. I'm trying to remember if I got nailed by any Nihrus or not. I'm trying to get all the sub-quests done before getting into the main story, so I have a lot of ground to cover. The bow probably isn't that cool of an item, but it's the principle of the thing, you know?

@ ki-master: You can get extra damage if you put arrows in your ammo slots - you'll get the damage of the arrow plus the Gesen Bow's electricity damage. You'll also get extra THACO from whatever bonus the arrow has. However, the arrow will be considered a +2 weapon (if the arrow is a +2 arrow for example), rather than the +4 weapon it would be considered if you were using just the Gesen Bow.
