Order of the Dark Flame: The Adventures Continue (no spam-story)
The Trolls, got their kettle ready. The knives were sharpened, for the skining and cutting. As they walked to Brink, just as they, took hold of Brink. He disappeared, in a flash of light. Nowhere to be seen. The Trolls looked around in amazement, of his disappearence. Not totally understanding, what had just happened.

“Perhaps I should thank you.” T’lainya said softly. “Sometimes seeing through someone else’s eyes shows you things in a new and beautiful light.”
They stood hand in hand for a while, sipping the wine and enjoying the peaceful night. This was the most relaxed that T’lainya had seen Darkpoet. His eyes were half closed as he motioned for her to be seated on a thick rug he had brought. He smiled and set the Amaretto flan out. They shared the rich dessert in a companionable silence.
T’lainya asked, “Where did you learn to cook so well? The dinner and the dessert were wonderful. I’ve not eaten so fine a meal since I visited my father last winter.”
Darkpoet smiled at her and said, “Thank you. I learned to…”
He was interrupted by a womans voice from the entry. “Ho Keep! We’re back”
T and Dp looked at each other and headed downstairs to greet their returning companions.

Hearing the voices of Jenna and Vivien, Dragon Wench went to greet them, hugging them both. Realising again that she had been avoiding Jenna since their encounter with the Shadow Master, she looked at her and smiled, "welcome home," she said.
Then leaving the two to settle in Dragon Wench wandered over to the stables, feeling strangely uneasy. Walking over to her horse, she lightly stroked the soft, velvety nose. Then impulsively, although it was nearing midnight, she leapt on his back and urged him into the bracing coolness of the night.
Gazing up into the blackness of the sky, she saw the cold, distant flicker of stars, and the dancing, multi-hued glow of Amaunator's lights. She found their presence compelling, almost a ward against the decay spread by the Shadow Master's ever present reign of corruption.

Nippy was still shocked to see what happened, Loner & Kramor had a daughter and suddenly vanished after speaking with her. She looked at him and asked who he was.
"Um, no-one important, gotta go now. Bye!"
Nippy called on a spirit animal, a flaming stallion and rode away. He teleported back to where Loner had gone to and rode back to the keep. He gathered provisions again and teleported to Kara-Tur.
Nippy found Hitomi in a very dangerous situation. There were atleast 40 shadows surrounding him.
Nippy waded into battle screaming a battlecry for Tyr. The bladed flaired with dark and light fire as Tyr blessed Nippy.
The shadows realised that this was one their master told them about. The plan had worked. He was seperated, soon would be the time to bring in the surprise.
"Master are you alright?"
"I, I amd fine, just a little weary, let me rest."
Hitomi fell into a deep sleep. Nippy let him rest, he was sure that this would not be the last fight to come.
Just in case he sent the Phoenix back to the keep with a message:
"Hail friends, you have not seen me in a little while of that I know. I ask you this: Could you keep your gear nearby you, I may have to fight a great evil soon and would like your help. If you need to reply give a message to mt Phoenix. By the way, Vivien take the amulet around the Phoenix's neck. It is a spirit lion. I am aware that you wanted one?"
Nippy.

@ Loner: I warned you...
Kramor encircled Loner's waist with his arms, pulling her into him. "Before we can have children, there are a some things that... would need to be attended to, don't you think? " he said smiling, brushing a lock of hair away from her eyes. She laughed, hitting him playfully on the shoulder, and nodded, looking up at him. And it was there again, like it was always there, like it was the very first time. He wondered if she would ever understand what it was like for him to stand inside her eyes in moments like this, feeling her achingly beautiful essence washing over him. As he reached to loosen his shirt, she gently took his hand in hers and brought it to her mouth, brushing his fingers with her lips. "Undress me," she invited in a half-lidded whisper.

As Thantor and Anicka made their way toward the third set of cells, the ground suddenly trembled under their feet. "By the gods, what was that?," Anicka demanded. Instinctively crouched in a wide based stance, Thantor looked quickly around for potential falling debris. "This place is set in a series of underground caverns, apparently," he replies. "They could be naturally unstable, or that... Abomination," he spat out the word like something toxic, "could be destabilizing them. Let's get moving."
*****************************************************
She felt the word before she actually heard it, like a fragrance delivered on a spring breeze. "Loner...", he sighed. The rush of emotion and physical sensation brought tears to her eyes. She allowed her hair to caress him as she traveled the length of his torso, bringing her lips closer to his ear. "Listening cannot describe what I do with your voice," she breathed. "I open my mouth, and take you inside.... rolling your voice on my tongue, tasting the shapes of your words."
She could feel him smile as his hands slid up her shimmering body, the tips of his fingers tracing the lay lines of her breasts. Her silken moans like an aural frame, he began to paint a picture with long, slow strokes. "Lying inside you, the resonance of the spaces between the words arch and open... inviting me. Movement caresses my mind ... coming ... away with meanings like nectar offered from your soul."

"It's a Coituraptor," whispered Thantor. They had come into a small cavern with a high vaulted ceiling. The great two-backed beast lay near the far wall, its hair wild, its skin glistened, its muscles rippling in the flickering torchlight. Thantor watched its ki, fascinated as the layers of energy engorged, swollen to the point of pain, swaying back and forth like twin hips on horseback.
"It appears to be completely unaware of us. It must be blind," offered Anicka. Thantor nodded, and once again the earth moved under their feet. Cautiously, they circled the Coituraptor, then slipped by it, sliding in and out of the shadows.

Vaguely familiar... like a storm was coming... something stirred inside Georgi. Slowly uncrossing her legs, she stretched along the whole length of her body, feeling the muscles tightening, then releasing. She was uncertain what had touched her, but she wanted more ... to understand more about it. She wished Thantor was here, and as she thought about him, the something grew stronger.

She bit his shoulder, the hollow of his neck, and then the lobe of his ear, whispering, "Longing to share its innermost secrets, the heart uncloaks, its chains shattered on a vulvan forge. The mind drifts by on an orchid boat of sighs."
A moment past and Kramor experienced all the nuances of that moment. The delight of Loner's words, her weight against his hips, the quiet passion of their intimacy. As the moment and the force of their rhythm crested, the word flowed from him: "Metal shards take wing, endlessly reflecting the light, creating a cathedral. The soul emerges, offering orchids like a sacrament to the heart."
I never knew. The thought came unbidden into Loner mind, her ki flooding both of them like a molten sunrise. How could I have known... that it could be like this?

Vivien was happy to be back in the garden, where she always felt so refreshed and peaceful. She lazily watched the little bees going about their business, flitting from flower to flower. One particularly large bee caught her eye and she watched it enter a long, slopping foxglove flower. She wondered, in a languid sort of way, what it would feel like to be the flower. The insistence of the large muscular bee pushing back her petals, caressing her innermost stamens, pollen glistening everywhere. Mmmmm, she thought, running her tongue slowly over her lips, that seems very nice. But it was probably a lot nicer for the flower, she reasoned, than the bee, for whom it appeared to be a bit messy.

"Wait, I want to check this," Thantor said, motioning to a large wooden door to their right. He tried the door, which appeared to be locked. Frustrated, he was about to smash it with his mace when Anicka stayed his hand. "Let's try this". Reaching out her hands, she cast Knock, and the door easily opened. "Good point," remarked Thantor feeling a little embarrassed. Anicka smiled, enjoying his discomfort. The room was lit with numerous glowing orbs. In the middle of the room was a great clockwork-looking device, with gyroscopic attachments spinning on either side. "Lantian?" Anicka asked. "Who else would make such infernal devices," growled Thantor. He walked over to a pedestal, set off to one side, and began to manipulate the set of dial and levers. The machine began to hum, and a neon colored fluid began to move from the central holding globe to five smaller globes around the periphery. "How did you do that?" Anicka asked in amazement. "Beginner's luck," replied Thantor. He was having trouble getting a clear picture of how to operate the device, however. The mindlink with the drow had been brief and the information he was able to retain was spotty. After several combinations of movements, five dimension doors suddenly appeared around the periphery of the room. Through the doorways, they could see the glen where Thantor and the Dark Flames had been attacked.

T'lainya placed her hand on Darkpoet's shoulder. "You seem lost in thought," she said gently, smiling at him.
"Oh, yeah," he answered, rousing himself. "Just woolgathering, I guess."

Lulled by the sound of Kramor's heart, Loner sighed contently against his chest. That she and Kramor would have children... She found a deep sense of peace in that knowledge, as many of her nagging doubts were put to rest. A warrior's life is often hard... and short. But maybe not for them. Maybe... She could tell that Kramor felt it too, which did not surprise her. He was always... suddenly she bolted upright in the bed. "What the hel..." started Kramor, but Loner cut him off. "It's Thantor. Kramor, we have to go."
