I totally agree with you, and I dislike telling lies as much as I dislike hearing them :) I also try to be tactful, but I'm not so good at it :( If a close friend asks me "How do I look in this pants", I might say "Your @ss looks rather fat" instead of saying something like "I think you'd look better in another model".

Now stop it, both of you.

A man can only comprehend, little bits of information. If you give us too much, we end up sitting in the back yard feeding the squirrels. ;)

@DP: Nothing wrong with feeding the squirrels and contemplating mine and T's wisdom :D

Maybe we should hold a step-by-step course? ;)

I love that too!

@DP and T': Hm, it seems like the pupil has done some research on the teachers in advance...that's sort of suspicious... ;) :D

DP, innocent as the serpent in Genesis  Well, the serpent might have had good intentions :D ;)

More beautiful things: The perfect cone vulcanoes at the Kamchatka penisula. Glaciers and ice caves. :)

Ugly: Airports. European functionalism architecture. (Looks like big shoeboxes.)

Most beautiful: I quite liked the view form the top of Victoria Peak In Hong Kong. If you turned away from the city it really was quite nice.
Alternatively, Nicholas Cage. Or Martin Kemp from Spandau Ballet. Its the eyes....

Most ugly: That stupid yellow banana/animal thing they had displayed in liverpool for ages last year. It was vile. Whoever designed it should be shot.
