persistent messenger (funny incidents)

Post by morfeus »

I know there is a thread around about the funniest event in Baldur, and this story should be added there, but I cant find it. (cause the search engine almost never works!!)

So here goes; "My funniest experience in Baldurs Gate." happened in Windspear hills. I had fought my way through the dungeons and surfaced to the final fight on the little (very secret hidden) hilltop on the right side of the map.

This place is impossible to reach from the forrestside. Nevertheless, this persistent servant from my stronghold is standing here, obviously patiently waiting for me to urge me to come to the castle ASAP.

How in **** did he know I was to surface at this exactly spot? How did he manage to make his way through the bushes and shrubs, when the way was completely blocked for me and my party? Why didnt the villains there kill him? (They attacked me at sight! No reason to spare him!) AND WHY DIDNT HE DUCK WHEN I THREW A FIREBALL AT THE MONSTERS?

ROFLMAO :D

"We've battled through hordes of undead, armies of bone golems, roomfuls of devious traps, even faced a shadow dragon and..."

"Ahem, excuse me, I have a message for you. Toodle-pips!"

Baldur's Delivery Services. When it absolutely-positively-arcanely has to be their underdark in demon-quick time :D :D :D

The description of the map looks like more Temple Ruins, then Windspear hills.
Crisis? No, there won't be any crisis next week, my agenda is already full!
