Greatest Quotes
Yes, it's time to...open up another topic!
So, what are your favorite quotes from the game? I have to say it is pretty "good quote heavy." I think my favorite has to do with that old lady who suddenly recognizes you're adventurers. She then starts grousing about 'em in a way that satirizes the old Ultima word input method of dialog (Name, Job, etc), and ends by commenting that you lot go around looking for special weapons that shoot lightning bolts out of your bum, etc. Satiric fun for the whole family.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Vhailor: “I am Vhailor.” (ok so it doesn’t sound all that cool when written but when said out loud it rocks. Keith David provides Vhailor's awesome voice, so just about anything he says is cool. I even use Vhailor's sounds for my paladin in BG2 )
Annah: "Get yer eyes off my arse!"
(ah Annah Who needs Jaheira, Aerie, or Viconia when I have you? )
Ravel: "Life swallowed you and spit you out!"
Morte: "It swallowed him, but I don't know if he came out of THAT end!"
And of course, the eternal question:
Ravel: "What can change the nature of a man?"
Annah: "Get yer eyes off my arse!"

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

LOL, and you're absolutely right!!!!!

@Kayless, you know, now that I think of it, isn't the Annah quote, "Keep your eyes off ma' tail, skull"? Mind you, I prefer your version, and I suspect the game's writers did, as well. But they were very careful never to state certain words, even as the dialog shows they were very doing their level best to imply 'em.

@fable, You may be right since I'm only going by memory here. Though I think she said the "arse" line at one point in the game. Oh uncertain memories!
P.S. I'm glad to see so many Annah fans here
"If you keep bobbing about skull, I’m gonna mount ye' on the end of a pike!"

She says both.
One if you annoy her (click on her several times), and the other is one of these quarrel-thingies between Annah and Morte.
The best quote, however, is Morte screaming "Osquip!"

Well, I'm not all that good at English anyway.
But you can't beat Ignus! Ignus is the best character ever. Did you know that the punishment Ignus undergone is sort of the way Dark Sun sorcerer-kings gain their godlike abilities? That means that if you "worship" Ignus (or you're a priest and touch him), you can use elemental Fire priest magic. Isn't that interesting?
Now that I think of it, the IWD sound "Aye! Har har har!" beats even PS:T, anyway.
Except for Ignus.
'Cause Ignus wishes to buurn.
