What are your favourite classes

Post by ki-master »

I'm just curious about what classes you like to use for the NO.I prefer a mage because you can get all those cool high level spells you can't get other wise.I find him most powerfull and the daggers in the game he can use rule.

I think one of the weaknesses of the game was the lack of balance among the classes. Thieves are good, but they really can't begin to approach fighters or mages, IMO--particularly the latter, who keep gaining all sorts of valuable spells throughout P:T. Fighters and thieves, by contrast, don't acquire new skills as things progress, a fact which has been taken into account with ToB.

Another thing: since the game only "ends" if your PC dies, it makes sense to hang around in the back and cast spells. ;)

I agree with you.Thieves and fighters don't really powerup as much as mages do.

i don't know a fighter can lay down some serious hurt at level 38 :D :D
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

Level 38? I'm assuming you never reached that. The developers once said that a player who wanted to spend dozens of hours fighting worms could get into the 20's. ;)

At the end of the game when you answer all the dialogs correctlyyou gain a massive amount of exp(name, sphere etc(.It's lame you get it at the end when you don';t really need it anymore.
