I think I made a mistake here. I finally made it to the Gnoll Stronghold (at Minsc's prodding) and Minsc keeps losing it and attacking me! Arrrrgh...I shoulda gone there when I was done with the mines. Any suggestions anyone?

i allways do the gnoll stronghold quest before the mines, lots of good loot, and easy if you take rest stops allong the way. resting at the cave at the angry smurf village {xvarts) and once again at the wolf cave should get you to the gnoll stronghold np. also, you dont have to talk to minsc or edwin to get your map updated, just head due west from the path leading up the waterfall plateau on the wolf cave map and there is one little spot that will let you access the world map, and ta-da, there is the gnoll stronghold. this tactic works great when your playing evil and dont think edwin could make it, or if you dont want to drag a bunch of npc's around.

Well, I did manage to lose him in Nashkel, by doing as suggested. After I rescued Dynaheir, went back to Nashkel and tried to bring him back; no go. Clicked on him and all he did was make his noises at me. And before anyone asks, yep, I did a reform the party thing and still no go. *sigh* S'okay...at least I didn't haveta kill the big ol'doofus. I like his character too much. Branwen, on the other hand, I'll dump as soon as I can. Hmmm...there is a large Ogre encampment waiting to the west...*evil chuckle*

wow, thats really strange, ussually paired npc's will insist about joining up, its either both or none. was your entire party present when you tried to get minsc to rejoin? or did you just send yourself into the buildidng in nashkel where you stashed minsc? hehe, or do you care? minsc is a good fighter type, but it sounds like your playing an evil party. whater way your playing it, the important thing is to have fun with it!!!

Hmmm, my entire party was with me when I brought the group in, including Dynaheir. *shrug* Not a big deal.
And yes, I'm having a great deal of fun, exploring everything, one area at a time. I'd like to lose Branwen though... she's obnoxious! "Our actions are not those of warrior bold" Pfeh! She can sit on it and twirl as far as I'm concerned. Ah well... I can wait. I seem to recall a really cool Gnome Illusionist/Thief. *wicked chuckle*

I think Branwen's ok. Yeah she does get annoying after a while, but then just go into a fight with some wicked tough stuff and she shuts up...for a while. And being able to summon 3 spirit hammers a day is pretty good, and shes go a better wis than Viconia and is TN, that suits me fine
