Immune to boots of speed

Erhm... got abit of a problem with my Character. She seems to have developed immunity towards the boots of speed. Is this a know bug?, does magical resistance prevent the usesage of these boots?

If I put them on minsc, they work fine.

Use of the Ring of Free Action or the Spider's Bane (also gives permanent Free Action) interferes with Boots of Speed. Is your PC using either of these items?

Wierd, I have the ring of free action. But mincs has the spider bane and he can uses them. Ohh well. But thanks alot for the help .

I never heard of spider's bane doing that. Just the ring of free action interferes with the boots of speed.

If you put on the Ring of Free Action THEN the Boots of Speed both should work.

That trick does work to a point, but every time you load a save game you will have to repeat that action because your speed will have reset to normal.
