The most powerful PvP class is...

Post by Teclis »

Conjurer/Cleric

yeah i know it sucks. at first i didnt believe it either. but after -much- debate on the planetbaldursgate.com forums even i now can concieve that they are the most powerful. This is dualled at 21/23 or so mind you.
Even the mighty sorc's power is overshadowed

Altho iam a firm believer that 95% comes down to the player. a good assasin could kill a sorc - c/c anyday if he is a better player. But if all classes are in the hands of capable players then the C/C comes out on top =\

I dont want to get into it here *its silly anyway... pvp isnt even part of bg2*, so if you want to read about it there are some massive posts on the bg2 part of planet bg.

I only posted this as there seems to be some confusion on which is the most powerful class.

Then again maybe we are all wrong and the jester is the most powerful pvp class ;) who cares.
I personally use a plain lawful evil human conjurer as he seems more "role-playish" to me. To each their own =)

Anyways post your comments on this.. it would be better if you read up those posts on planetbaldursgate first tho so you see im not just pulling something out of my @55. ;)

No flaming please people as at first i was a flamer who refused to admit ;)
I couldnt be stuffed making a 20+/20+ myself. heh.

I am not surprised. I assume clone spells featured in the debate somewhere.

URL please?

We've gone through more than enough debates on which class is the best.

somehow i think you could put any two classes together at levels 21 / 23 and get a monster char who will kill anything except the next 21 / 23rd level char.

is there a combo that would suck?

Didn't the first post just seem like an advertisement for planetbaldursgate? It's like one of those teasers that they have for the local 6 o'clock news.

Some more than others, without a doubt. Especially the suckier Kits. Wizard Slayer/Mage doesn't exactly hold the same appeal as Kensai/Mage.
