Two questions, one big, one small

Post by Grimm Reaper »

First, doea anyone know where the helm of opposite alignment can be found? I figure that this might make Khalid tolerable(well, it might). Also, just think how much more fun Dynaheir would be as chaotic evil!

More seriously, is there any listing of dual classes and their maximum levels that can reached in BG1?

Thanks, and don't fear the reaper! :D

The Helm of Opposite Alignment can't be found normally in the game, so you'll have to CLUA it in (or use Gatekeeper). The code is: HELM02.

As for the maximum level a dual-class can reach, that depends on what class you dual from, what class you dual into, and when you dualed. The combined experience points from both classes can't exceed 89,000 if you don't have ToSC installed, and can't exceed 161,000 if you do.

Ex: You dual a 4th level thief into a mage. The game considers her as having 4000 experience points (the min. for level 4) in the thief class. The max she can reach in BGI is 89000 - 4000 = 85000 = 7th level mage (161000 - 4000 = 157000 = 9th level mage in ToSC). Hope this helps.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Thanks! Now, any ideas as to the best dual-class when planning to import to SOA?

Gamespot has a great strategy guide for BG and BG:TSC. The TSC guide has a chart for max levels for all combinations of single, dual, and multi class characters. To answer your other question, for BGII:SOA the best dual class combos are fighter/caster, but don't dual untill around level 12 at the earliest as to get your base fighter some good weapons proficiency, hit points, ect. Good luck.

Actually it is just a thing you some time should have tried with the pantalons...otherwise what comes out is pretty useless for proper gameplay for a few reasons....it is just funny to see what you can look like with three strange pairs of trowsers :D  ;)
Go away..this is my Dragon....get one yourself...
