shoule i play BG1 and ToSC?

i have played BG2 and simply loved it beyond beleif and the question is should i play BG1 and TOSC or simply wait for the xpansion and NWN to come out and buy them ??!

Do play BG1!! It is a great game and fun.

And you can have tomes to raise your original stats. It's worth it, especially many shops sell them bargain price now.

go out and buy it this instant, i have started playing it again and i love it so much,its only £15 for bg and Tosc, what a bargain

I have played both and found BGII to have greater depth and replayability. However, this being said, if you have not played BGI I would highly recommend it. It will have a sligthly different feel to it but it is an enjoyable game none the less. Just make sure you get the expansion pack.
