Well i must say that Kobolds are so  , I love the yapping sound they make, the way they hop along like kangaroos is so funny and even the name sounds cool. Also a bunch of kobold commandos with fire arrows can cause a world of hurt

The Ogre Mage. Definitely a lot of fun to kill! Especially the house in Baldur's Gate where there are seven of them. Lotsa fun! :D
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

Those Siren chicks. If you've plenty of archers they're easy meat (fish food?) for the 2K XP. Also, Khark the mad "ogre-mage in a bottle" :D

Funny?! I cant believe ANYONE actually likes Kobolds :D I absolutely LOATHE going through the Gullykin maze. Infinite Kobolds and infinite flame arrows? no thanks! Its gotta be one of the toughest and least rewarding areas of BG1.
Kobolds are ok in moderation, but I never want to fight 10,000 of them in a confined area again. :D :D :D

The best BG1 creatures IMO are Dopplegangers. I love "Your time is done primate" and of course the most sinister creature quote in BG, "Time to fillet some meat!". Ohhh scary

Oopah the Amazing Exploding Ogre. That's just plain cool. What could be better than a Ogre that explodes on command, then turns on its owner and attacks you?
