What the hell!! LOL!!!
I was dealing with Narlen Darkwalk, and Ravenscar. You know, the whole Oberan/Halruaan Skyship formula.
I had completed the quests, and I was talking to Ravenscar, when Resar piped up, sayin' crud like he must erase all traces... inculding us. Typical. Everyone wants to kill me.
Now, I have scripts on my party, mainly aggresive, because that's the kind of person I am! Problem with scripts is, that when you have a mage set-up with MM, 7 to be exact, and she has the Aggressive Mage/Bard script, Chaos insues. Because of her, I've lost some Reputation.
So, when Resar pipes up with the "I told ya, now I gotta kill you" shpeel, Dynaheir kicks off the new year with some fireworks, and kills Resar before Narlan can step in.
Then, all of a sudden, a guy steps in. His name? Biff the Understudy!! *dun dun dun* So, Narlan walks in, and kills Biff in Resars place.
I've seen Biff in the playhouse in BG2... what is this guy's purpose??

IIRC, he enters in dialogs when the "correct" NPCs can't for whatever reason
Being an Evil Overlord seems to be a good career choice. It pays well, there are all sorts of perks and you can set your own hours. However every Evil Overlord I've read about in books or seen in movies invariably gets overthrown and destroyed in the end. I've noticed that no matter whether they are barbarian lords, deranged wizards, mad scientists or alien invaders, they always seem to make the same basic mistakes every single time. Therefore, if I ever happen to become an Evil Overlord, ...

Whats funny is when you get several of them at once.
I solo'd the game with a thief and the defense of the dukes in the Duchal palace was a real bear. I had to get a wand of sleep and put a bunch of the nobles who turn into dopplegangers to sleep. Several of them have lines, as do some others around, so I think I had 3 or 4 Biffs at one time.
