You are wrong, 19 dex wont help AC more than 18, just adds some to missile damage. Dualclassing is better than multiclass anytime, a dualclassed fighter can have 5 weaponslots, while a multiclass can have 2 only, and after level 9 you wont need the fighter class anymore, since you got max weapon skill, and all the extra hp he gives (after level 10 you get only 3 per level)

Wow, I really started something here, oops Image Anyway, for starters I don't have the Shadow Keeper, or whatever to change stats, all were due to items and starting stats.

Second, wisdom DOES make a different for a few spells, for example the spell limited wish, the better your wisdom, the more useful, intelligent wishes you can grant. Plus I can get cha/dex/str from items, may as well have all reound 18, rather than one annoying low one. It just makes my character seem more poweful.

Also simple mages can't put ++ into quarterstaff. The ++ really adds to your THACO and makes the Staff of the Magi deadly.

A half/elf can see in the dark and looks younger. The human version looks like sixty, which your character isn't. Plus it was a trend I brought from Baldur's Gate I, with my half-elf. The fighter mage gets two strongholds and is much more resiliant in combat, with a greater THACO and hit point ajustment and saving throws. Why have a weak mage when a strong one can be used?

Sorry, I don't have my manual handy to check this, and I am currently unable to run BGII due to technical difficulties involving a Warranty item which needs to be taken 300km for repair (bastards!).

Can anybody confirm that the DEX table in the manual shows no additional AC advantage for DEX 19+?

Can you confirm the game itself fails to give an additional AC advantage for DEX 19+?
