Dual class ability score question

Post by Tyler_G »

I have a Kensai right now with a strengh of 13. I just found out that I can't dual over to a mage because I need at least a 15 str.
Will items that set or improve his str. to 15 or higher allow me to dual over to a mage?
Dont worry about breaking my heart because I only just finished escaping from Irenicus.

No, you'd have to do it by other means, but you can still get there without cheating.

I think the dual-classing ability is based on your originally set status, and not on those you get after wearing items of "improvement". But I'm not completely sure about it. Wait for some veteran players to tell you. They know best.

Cheers

You can increase your strenght in the game, but that's much later in the game, so you might as well restart. Also make sure you have an Intelligence score of at least 17. Items that give you boost to stats while wearing do not count for dualing porposes.
