Aerie Spoiler
I have now defeated the ravager, and Aerie and I have sworn our marriage vows. "Sigh" Also, my sugar level is way up and I need my insulin, OK, just kidding. However, I haven't even received the crack about Cespenar letting out chain mail, let alone the birth. How long does it take to get them, in game time?
That's when I got to that bit, so if there's any more romance I missed it all. Looking through Shadowkeeper there IS a variable called AERIEPREGNANCYTIMER or somesuch, but me being n00b3 sKu|\/| I don't know how to fiddle with this.Originally posted by Grimm Reaper:

i tried fiddling with that variable both with both shadowkeeper and in game using CLUAconsole both ways didn't work and indeed the variable appears frozen.
i have a theory or two on why that is, to long to list here, but anyway if anyone knows what triggers the dialog i would like to know as well, though i guess if i get desprate enough i could probally try to extract the dialog and view it, but it's not as interesting that way![Cool ](./images/smilies/)

After you have completed all of the challenges, and have gotten the dialogue where you make your marriage vows. There are two variables that you have to set, AeriePrenantTimer and AerieRomance; you can use Shadow Keeper to set both to 1 or use CLUA:
- CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("AeriePregnantTimer","GLOBAL",1)
- CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("AerieRomance","GLOBAL",1)
This is will start the dialogue where she have the baby.

I think aeries pregnacy is rather strange... i mean i thought i took months between.. you know.. but she managed to shorten it to a couple of days... must be that elven blood or something ![Roll Eyes ](./images/smilies/)

Aerie's pregnancy takes 30 game days, after she told you that she's pregnant. This would also depend on how long you take to go through the game - since it only run after you have completed all the challenges. I doubt anyone would take 9 months to finish ToB.

So either she manages to hide her pregnancy for eight months before finally telling you, or that Bhaalspawn blood kinda speeds things up a bit.Originally posted by Sabre:

Ok, you asked for it.
There are three times when party members will say something about the birth. The first is when Aerie first say she's having the baby, dialogues are as follow:

So... you finally got little Aerie pregnant. About time, if I do say so myself. You two were going at it like a pair of hormonally imbalanced bunnies. I was beginning to wonder if <CHARNAME>'s bow was out of arrows, if you get my drift. It's like the time my cousin Hedgehog...
Keldorn and Anomen
You... you are with child, Aerie? But... but you are not married! Unless we sanctify your union with <CHARNAME> this child will be a bast...
Your reply
Don't even go there, Keldorn!(or Anomen!)
Edwin
Well, it would seem the leader of our little group has impregnated the impressionable circus child. (And here I thought she was merely getting chubby without the ring master's whip to keep her in shape.)
Viconia
So the wingless one is pregnant? I thought she was merely becoming fat.
Mazzy and Nalia
This is so exciting! Here, let me help. I have a little experience with child birth... though not much.
The second time is right after the birth, dialogues are as follow:Cernd and Jaheira
Ah, this time comes sooner than I expected... I have little experience with the gestation period of the Avariel. Do not give me that look, <CHARNAME>. Did you really think we were so blind we would not see Aerie's swollen belly beneath her robes? Fortunately I have prepared some herbs to ease her pain during this coming ordeal.
Jan
You did well, Aerie. He's a fine, healthy looking baby! Reminds me of the advice me own father gave me about raising kids. Jan, he said, whatever you do... HEY! The little tyke just smiled at me!
Korgan
Huh - I thought ye flyin' elves hatched yer young from eggs! Ach - 'tis too bad... I fancied an omelet this morning!
The third time is after Aerie named the baby Quayle - or if you objects, then she'll ask that you let her call him that for the time being - dialogues are as follow:Imoen
Oh... he's so precious. Hey, since <CHARNAME> and I are brother and sister, I guess this makes me an aunt!
Valygar
<CHARNAME>, you must be very proud. I was against having children of my own, given my family's cursed bloodline... but if you're willing to give it a try, maybe I should reconsider.
Hear'Dalis
Ah, <CHARNAME>... had you not kept young Aerie's condition secret, I would have composed a sonnet to celebrate this great occasion!
Minsc
Congratulations, <CHARNAME>. Soon this tiny one will be planting his wee feet into the backside of evil, just like his daddy! We should give him a tiny sword to wave at the villains as we battle! Oh... Boo says that may not be such a good idea.
