(may be spoiler) I say Tiax. He was absolutely hilarious in SoA! -- You remember, the ambitious, crazy gnome in Spellhold.
Tiax rules all!
NO ONE walks where Tiax walks unless he is standing upon them!
Too bad he gets killed by that nasty Irenicus
Well, Mazzy ain't bad. But I still would have loved to see Kivan again. I really like most of the new NPCs but the old ones are just pure nostalgia. Imagine them as well done as the new ones. Why Keldron when there was Ajantis? Why Korgan when we already had Kagain? And Quayle sure would be cooler than Aerie. Eldoth instead of H'D. Dynaheir instead of Nalia. And so on and so on...Originally posted by Aegis:
What BG2 really needed was a dedicated Archer. Almost everyone in the game is a Mage or Melee fighter, no one is really suped up to just use Bows, that's why I think Kivan would've been the best to add to the game.
Sorry Aegis, you're wrong here. Coran was a Fighter/Thief with a extraordinary *** in Bows (although ** is the maximum). In addition, like Kivan, he was an Elf. Finally, he had an amazing Dex of 20. With a Tome on top of that he got an even greater bonus for ranged weapons. So Coran was by far the best archer.Originally posted by Aegis:
To my knowledge, Coran was primarly a theif, thus could only get 1(?) proficeincy slot. Kivan could get upto 5 (For some reason, Rangers and archers, for me at least, can always get grandmastery in Bows..) Also, Kivan has the better dex, of 19.
