Help!!! Please!!!

Post by ThuBan »

Everyone knows the mission with the man, his daughter and the lich. I met the guy at tavern, and agreeded to meet im at his east cliff house. Now I go in and he is not there, just his daughter on the bed :P The guy just isn't there. Questions:

1. Doed he only appear after I kill the dragon and drow bhaalspawn?

2. If not, do I NEED to get in to that bloody cave to kill Balthazar? Is there any other way, like through the front gates, like?

Any speedy help is greatly appreciated, thx.

Sorry, don't know anything about the bloke disappearing but after you defeat the other two Bhaal spawn you can visit the smugglers cave and be offered the choice of two ways in - I actually chose the route through the tombs so don't know if the other works - hope this helps.

It sounds like a bug, have you installed all the latest patches?

If it isn't a bug, then the quest might be time specific, he might turn up at night or something similar, it might be worth going back to an earlier save and paying more attention to what he said.

I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

Yes, it's a bug, done everything imaginable and searched all the options. But great, I did finish the game in spit of this. Thx for info.

Btw. Saruman, patience is a virtue, but I guess I'm not all that virtuous.
