Watcher's Keep lvl 2 can't get into ice or fire rms

I need assistance...the walkthrough doesn't help either...I can't get the doors to the ice or fire rooms open..can't find a key or anything...and it obviously needs one since my thief can't open them...turning the fan on high and opening the doors through the slime room doesn't help either...

hit the tab key. make sure you look at everything that is highlighted. you should get some notes, a key, and a sceptre. its cryptic, i know, but everything you need is hidden there. check bookshelves.

Thanks...It was a Snake in the grass you might say...found it right away with the TAB action thanks mightily!!
