The road not taken

Hya, I am at the point to choose between going to Underdark or going with that bloody traitor on his ship. Which way should I take and why should I take this way?

go with the sailor. you will get to underdark after a moment in another area, where you can get exp as well as items.

Go with the ship, you will get to the underdark later anyway, and some of the best equipment in the game is where the ship takes you... you will see

Thanks a lot. I already knew some cool items are in the underwater city. I just didn't know if I would miss Underdark that way

But on the other hand, the city is an insult to players everywhere, a 5 year old could do it, with their eyes shut. Plus it means you have to wait that bit longer before you can get back to the less linear areas.......

Of course, skip the city and miss one of the funniest bits of the game

Skip the city and you miss out on the Cloak of Mirroring. That alone is worth the trip.
