3rd Edition Online Game

Post by -Maedhros- »

Hey, does anyone in the guild want to start an online d&d game going? It would be a great way to get to know the rules and get to know each other. I'd be willing to DM if there are no other volunteers for it. Anyways, post the times you can play and what you'd want to be if you're interested :D .

I'd like to, so I can learn a bit of 3.ed rules, but I don't know how much time I'll get in the next periode of time, because we are going to write a major paper at school from next friday and untill christmas

So if it runs by email - I would properly be able to join, but if it runs in IRC or similar - I'd have to stay out  (this time :D )

I'd love to try, if the timing works. I am working on a campaign setting of my own, but it won't be ready any time soon. If this goes well, I might be interested in taking a turn as DM later.

How were you thinking of handling the technical side? Where would we play, when, etc?

Sounds like fun, but how? Chat isn't for me (timeframe is too constraining). I'd like to DM a little, but work is too busy to spare the time right now, so I could only play. :(

I was thinking of using a chat room only because I don't know of any other way to play online. I'd DM if no one else would, but I only have a bit of DM experience. I'm on Eastern Time (north america) and can play any night late.

I'd certainly be willing as well, though like many others I'd have scheduling problems depending on the time for the chat. Sounds cool! :)

What timezones are everyone in? Is there anyone who can play late night on Eastern Standard Time?

Hey General! I'm PST too - I thought I was the only one. I could play late night east coast time BTW, but I don't know how I'll ever get to play NWN with the euros :( Xyx, Xandax, NeKro etc, I've been trying to figure out what hours I would have to play to see you guys in action, but I have a feeling it won't be easy to arrange. Oh well. I'm at my stupid job during your prime evening hours, so maybe if I get a night job....

Edited because I forgot which way the earth spins ;)

This probably isn't much of a comfort but you'll be able to play with me :D
It'll be funny. All the euro guys will be on, then the EST ones, then PST... when we're down to 2!

It is a comfort to know that. For me the game will probably come out right in the middle of tax season when I will be working 14+ hour days, at least by April I will have free time.
