Artemis Entreri

Post by Dario »

I read on another forum that you could get Artemis to join you using CluaConsole. I could get him to fight me but not join me. Was anyone else able to get Artemis in their party.

What is the CLUA code to summon him?

To get him to pop up type in CreateCreature("Artemis"). He then pops up in the shadows and attacks your party.

Artemis Entreri is the human rival of Drizzt Do'Urden, his fighting equal. he is an assasin that thrives in Calimport. He captured Regis and Drizzt and he did many battles since, neither claiming victory. After their first fight, Drizzt no longer wanted to fight Entreri, but Entreri became obsessed. Drizzt sees Entreri as a clone of himself had he not left the Underdark. They both fight, a contest of morals vs. heartless, good vs. evil.

For more info, read R.A. Salvatore books on the Forgotten Realms.

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Kayless: it seems, from the books, that Entreri would be Neutrel Evil, as he does break some laws and guild rules. Also, I think his stealth and hide shadows should be higher (around 100), as with open locks and find traps. In the latest books, (in my opinion) Entreri seems to be closer to True Neutrel. Also, in 3E, wouldn't he be an assasin dualed to fighter (kensai would be right but its impossible in DnD)? Great with getting the stats though. :)

Artemis also dual weilds a dagger and a variety of weapons. His dagger drains the life of his victoms and heals him. He also weilds Charon's Claw (eventually), a part sentient demon sword.

If you kill him in the game he will have leather armor +3, short sword +2, and a dagger +4, "Life-Stealer", that has a 15% chance of casting level drain.

I got Artemis’ stats, alignment, etc strait from the Villain’s Lorebook (which was 2E and a bit dated now). Though I agree with you about his Alignment being more towards Neutral these days. :)

He's in serious need of a girdle of strength. Boy has no muscles!

He doesn't need a girdle doesn't really need the strength. Did you read the books? Its all about the speed with him. He never needed the strength just his wits and speed. To bad he thinks Drizzt is dead.

umm, You guys said that Artemis was Drizzt's fighting equal, but in all the books I have read Drizzt came out ahead in every encounter and would have been the victor except something else happened or Art fled. Only when Artemis had an unfair advantage did her win.
