I think the guild needs a small logo (for use as a button etc). Here are a couple which I have made using elements from the Blades of the Banshee site...
What do you think?

"Security isn't a dirty word Blackadder; crevice is a dirty word, but security isn't."
And the idea of using the letters from "Blades of the banshee" banner and the swords is quite good.
But they should not be used inside this forum/board.
Here we need to keep images at a minimum (and people already know who we are )
But for a "crest" on other sites advetising the guild, buttons etc. - I think it would be great.
Go ahead and make some - and I'll se what I can come up with - and we can post it on the "blades" site so people can choose.
Well since I can't display them on the forum, follow this link:

EDIT: Could you mail me the swords you have made (or post them on you site so I can download them) - I'd like one vertical (without the B) and another with the cross blades (again without the B) I'll like to see if I can merge your swords with the text effect I can make: ei.: BB
No scimitars? I like the concept, but the swords are a bit plain... Maybe someone could rip a cool sword image from BG2? Like Keldorn's blade and Celestial Fury.
Or "borrow" some stuff from D&D artists...
BTW, I can see the original images in "reply mode", but not when I opened the page.

I rank them as the second one, then the first one, and lastly the third one. I don't really think the crossed swords look that good, and plus the whole crossed-swords thing is overdone. and i do like Xyx's idea of using a more elaborate sword.
Totino's party pizzas rock! All a college kid needs to get by....
Just testing to see if I can merge the swords with some of the text effects like in the banner.
Check it out: here
I'll try to see what cliparts I can find of swords - there is not much out there that is useable, but I'll look through the net again
I've made another one:

Should I keep experimenting with something like this - or should I/we go new ways
Xandax, you're second one is the best out of the two you have done, but do the letters look a little unevenly spaced to anyone else? I like them, but I think that logos have to be smaller (though of course you could just shrink them as I might do with mine).

Oh - yeah - I've forgotten to remove the "italic" in my program, the letters are already "italic" so an extra gives the uneven spacing.
It is only to show what I can do, if you need something specific I can try to see what I can come up with.
Straying off the topic here, but is there any particular reason why this forum has been so quiet over the last few days (I don't want the guild to be born and die before the game is even out)!
