Is anyone going to start up their own guild or just going to join other ones. There could be a gamebanshee guild I suppose. Anyone seen any other guilds floating anywhere?

I have saw some, but I don't get the reason behind them.
Is it for groups of the same kind? (Paladins in one group, Mages in another)
Or is it for a group of 6?
Or is it for the group you plan on adverturing with?
I'm lost in this guild thing....

I suppose the whole point really is to adventure with a group of people who like the same class of characters or roleplay the same way. Some people actually go really far and build codes of chivalry etc. I've even seen an assassins guild that actually assassinate characters in games!

I can see joining a group who RP the same way, but I really don't want to be adventuring with 6 Paladins all at the same time. or any 6 of the same kind.

See this is the thing. You can join a guild that has the purpose of fighting evil or good. You can join a guild that prefers to keep balance etc. The whole point is that sometimes it is more fun/easier/better to travel in a group.
I honestly can't understand sites putting up release dates. Bioware haven't even put one up yet so people are just speculating. However even if it was that long a wait (which I hope it isn't) I would still buy it. Do you think it's going to get a good reception, after all the coverage has not been brilliant.
I agree on both points..speculating and no matter how long it takes.
I believe when the time gets near release the coverage will improve.Right now everyone is IMHO rehashing what little news they have and a little is better than none.
