I know thats why I thought that we should go. The better idea we get of the rules the better chance of understanding the game and creating a decent character.

I forgot to mention, if you are looking for a good site for NWN information try
here

Was thinking of a guild name and if we should stay in this Banshee-line, why not take it from the mage spell "Wail of the Banshee" :D (just a thought)

@All:
Regarding webspace then I have my own domain called www.svelmoe.dk - if people were interested we could place a guild-site there, ei. "www.svelmoe.dk/<nameofguild>.

I'd be able to put aside about 15-20 mb of webspace. (last 5-10 mb are used to other purpose)

The advanteges is that there aren't and will not come any advertising, and my webhotel is pretty stabile.

The disatvanges is that ASP+CGI is currenly not permitted at my webhotel, then I need to upgrade ($$) (don't think it is neasecary either (yet)).
I can't give the guild an email, because they are used for other purposes (but there is always hotmail and other free - and I have plenty of private emails I can convert into a guild one)

Well I guess it is up to the interested parties - I'm willing to use 15-20 mb of my domain if people would like it :)

Hi all! Good to see people getting ready for NWN. :) I'd be happy to contribute in any way possible.

I've spent nearly all my spare time on BG2 scripting for the past six months, to the exclusion of actually playing the game. :D I'd wager that a little of my experience will carry over to NWN scripting, though it will be in a totally different (and more powerful!) language.

I'm also into PnP D&D3, so I'm familiar with the rules. One tip for those not familiar: go for even numbers in character creation. Strength 11 Dex 11 gives you no bonuses whatsoever. Strength 10 Dex 12 would give you a +1 to all Dex related stuff (such as AC).

I plan on playing a True Neutral Elven Sorcerer. Would the Guild be open to me?

@Xyx: as far as I remember - we haven't excluded any classes - and there have been mentioned classes from assasians to paladins :)

I myself will most likely play a CN or CG human mage

All I need is a few strong people at my back, and I'll fight through hell and back. :D .

How about something like the "The Coherts of the Banshee"? That way it doesn't sound like a class specific guild, and it has a nifty sound to it.

Don't worry - I'll be in the back (waaaay back if you're going to hell :D )

EDIT: okay people - because I've been bored today due to many reasons, I've messed around a bit with possible logos/styles - but I don't know, I think I've made them too flashy/neat :D - but see if it is anything that can be used (look at style more that text)

All of the are spinning around x-axis with a light source in the upper right coner.

I like them all except the red one. It doesn't seem to fit with the "banshee" part. Also, just out of curiosity, whats with the spinning?
