Good question. From my reading on different boards...I have saw talk of parties of 4 to 6....can it get bigger than this? 8? 10?
Would you want to be in a party of 10?
I believe (Like Xandax I think) that this is so we always have someone..( a fighter, a theif, a mage) to adventure with. In the small mods a party of two might can play it and have fun. So I guess party size will have to depend on the mod..small mod, small party/ big mod, big party right?

Yeah - this is pretty much my belife. We will properly play in a party of around 6 mostly, but there is nothing for that 2 people can game together with other people also.
For me this is mostly to be able to get somebody that want to play this game with me
So one day I'd might team up with Weasle and we would go out and defend GB/BoTB honour in a multiplayer game with person X and Y - and another day I'd might team up with 5-6 persons and possible a DM/GM from our midst and adventure together there.
But really, does NWN support parties larger than 6?
Would be fun to take the whole Guild out on a field day.

Well I've read that depending on hardware a server can support large numbers of players.
eti. they say that a k56 modem should be enough to actually make a sever that could hold 5-8 players.
And a better connetection hold at least 32 players. And if a sever can hold 32 people (minimum) - well there shouldn't be anything against these players banding up in several smaller groups and still traveling together.
But still this is just speculation from my side - but I'd still think it is possible - also taking into account that some places will create persistant world ei. UO-like.
My greatest concern in all this is whether or not we have anybody that can/want to be DM/GM's.

Yep - no problem
EDIT: It is done - it seems however that there is something wrong with the capital letters I've made - so I bid that people will be a little patient while I make new ones and change them out with these old ones
Yeah - but my upload is "only" 64 - but that would still mean I could host games for about 8-15 people.
But I've never tried DM anything - so we would need somebody that can do this.
