@ Xan, when we play in Argyle we have to wait until we have enough cash to buy a guild house. That means we have to adventure, however with 30 odd people running around nicking everything not nailed down it will come quick enough... :D :D

Either that, or we'll be faced with the challenge of bailing out 30 thieves...

We should get a patch of land in a nice, easy-to-reach location before anything else. When we have that, we can start building on it. Would be a shame if we came last and were appointed a spot somewhere in the back. If I have to suffer an amount of walking and loading times like in D'Arnise Keep stronghold...

How about starting ourselves in a slightly out of the way part of the world like Port Hope, or one of the other non-major cities? That way it will mostly be us GB members adventuring in the area (hopefully). When we're established, we can move into the more popular areas.

BTW, has anyone registered their characters at Argyle, yet?

That's what I've been waiting on as well, but it seems to be the consensus. Will we be playing there for sure?

Are you sure - I know that you can buy a Guildhouse in the game, but it dosen't say anywhere on the site that you need one to be able to start the guild.
There also seems to be some guilds that have joined already.

I have spoken to Rhino, one of the DM's and he says that there are two player controlled guilds that were agreed that would start with a guild house. I believe that he wouldn't do that with us. We could set ourselves up and then buy the room. BTW check out their forums

Well - can't we submit the guild without a guild house, to start from?

Do we need to submit characters, or is it a "show-up-and-play" world?

What about submitting the guild to Neverwinther Vault
How does this look?

WTF!?  Why not?

Not that I mind obtaining the guild house in-game, but why the difference?

I know I was a little pissed but he said the reason was that they were helping out with the server or something. Besides, I think the guild house will take no time at all to buy due to our high membership. If you want to e-mail the guy look for his e-mail on the website. Maybe if he gets 30 odd e-mails he will change his mind :D :D ;)

I don't think that is a good idea - I would not like it if we somehow offended these guys, they are doing a big job for people like us, by providing a place to play.
As for the guild-house, we'll get one soon enough :) That is not the main thing IMO

I suppose i'll have to wait regardless, as I'm waiting for the game and it's rules to be released before i determine my stats and perhaps even my class. I'm sure you'd need both to register your character.

I belive it is only the guild-name etc that needs to somehow be submitted to "Argyle", not the characters (maybe?)
