XP Cap

Post by chuck0215 »

If I read correctly there is goint to be a level 20 xp cap, can someone clarify this for me, I would think with the ability of creating moduels and adventuring in other worlds with other DM's you would think that there would be no cap on this. :D

The cap that Black Isle have put on is Lvl 20, unless they release a mod to increase it then that is what it will stay. Remember, Lvl 20 is incredibly high and could possibly take years to get to.

The reason for NWN to have a cap at level 20 is because that's where the core rules end. WoTC will of course eventually expand on this (read epic levels). But as it is, level 20 is where the core rules end and thus NWN.

So it's not really Bioware who decided on the cap. They just want to adhere to the rules.

Hmmm ok so it level 20 i don't think that is bad at all.
By the End of SOA i was like, bring on AO will whip his sorry...
But seriously level 20 is very high, and they play with hard core rules right?
So it is harder to get up the high.

And considering Argyles no respawn policy, reaching level 20 will be quite an impressive feat.
