Someone brought this up in AJ's topic but I think it needs to be discussed in a full thread so bring it here peeps!
Basically, I'd like to know if any of you are starting with each other. Rail and I will, and we have it cleared from the TAT'ers.
If you do want to start with someone, write it into your bio, perhaps both of you worked on the same farm, or where students at the same school. I suggest that you co-ordinate heavily. I can help (I don't mean to sound condesceding) writing them if you want it, PM or e-mail me and tell me what you'd like to do, I'm here to help, peeps, use me!
I would like to travel with other players, but it would only be if they were of a travelling mind, or if i knew they were banshees....my character's all about staying on the road....of course, when the times comes he might settle down for the cause of the Blades, but even then he would prolly serve best as a travelling emissary

Totino's party pizzas rock! All a college kid needs to get by....
Keep in mind, the old Blades of the Banshee in Saigo's story happened near the neck of where the two continents meet. While that was 75 years ago, travel is not all that common in Argyle, so it might me easier and more realistic to start in that general part of the world, say Arbordan or Shroudgard.
However..., being chased and hunted by demons sure would give you a good motivation to take up travelling.

I'd like to start off in a small party, but only with characters my character has come to know and trust (and he's not the trusting sort).

Would probably be best if people started out in small groups which can handle most situations... (a mage, a thief, a cleric, and a fighter...), or the wings start out togheter... so the rogue wing establishs a thiefs guild, the nature wing establishs a druid grove and so on.

Nahh... You wouldn't want to hang out with a dozen other people that all have the exact same class as you.

Guild creation ingame will be both expensive and dangerous - so it is not advisable for anything lower than lvl. 6 to begin forming actual wings/guilds.

I see... so the DM's have this "thing" about crushing small, low level guilds.
Well i stil think everyone would have better surviving odds if starting out in small groups.

As long as there is a roleplaying reason for it - then everything is fine.
But if you simply adventure with somebody because you know they will become a part of the same guild when created - then you are meta-gaming and that is frowned upon.
If you want to adventure with others - write up a bio and find a reason to how/why you know each other (and a member of a guild not created is no RP-reason IMO )
Well ofcourse it will be added to the bio, but i think we might need to know who wants to travel with others... cant write a bio saying alot about how i know you and stuff, then you want to travel alone...
