I would not like to see polls at this board though.
On BIS boards they are used pretty much for everything, and it gets annoying to see a poll for the "best spell beginning with j, that you can only use at night" (fictive example

).

Xan has a point, polls can be over used.

Perhaps we could implement polls for when there is some debate over a new forum?

I've seen what happens when UBBs allow polls... Except for a RARE few, most are really stupid polls! Like, "Poll: What cheese tastes the sharpest" and "Poll: Which eye of George Washington's do you think is smaller". It can get ugly.

Polls are kindof dumb, people already do their informal polls in different topics - I think this is enough.

but here goes:

Romano cheese (finely grated for the most surface area) is the sharpest

Washinton's eyes look suspiciously similar in size, people are not usually that symmetrical, I would guess the right is smaller.

Xan, there ARE no BG spells that start with "J"! Is this some sort of conspiracy?? I think there should be one: Jaker's Reckless Dreamer

Because then we would all put stickys on our topics and the page would stay the same until somebody deleted the thread.
