Bonus CD and Pre-Order Editions???

This question has probably been asked millions of times b4, but I've only just recently started to play BG2 and most sites that are dedicated to BG talk about a Bonus CD and/or Pre-Order editions, I have already bought a copy of BG2 and was wondering if there is any way to obtain either of the above mentioned.

Any info on the topic would be appreciated thank you

Welllll

I asked a simaliar question, the main thing you get from the bonus CD is the extra merchant in the Adven Mart.

You can go to the download section on this site, and get the merchant without the CD.

There are two bonus merchants.

One is Deirdre in the adventure mart and the other is Jolov in the Copper Coronet. I think one came with the limited edition SOA and the other with the pre-order CD. Which is which I can't recall but files to replace them (if you only have the vanilla SOA game) both exist.

Deirdre has all the MUST have stuff but Joluv has some good gear too. - Curdis !

Actually, it would be interesting to know how much harder the game would become WITHOUT those Deidre's items!!!!
No Robe of Vecna, no Vhailor's Helm....

Well i have a problem.
I have the bonus disc, when i try to open it it comes up with these files.... Pre-sell 9_1.....Pre-sell 9_1.r00,01,02,r03,r04.
I have only been able to open the first one.
Where am i meant to open this file to?
I am meant to put a location D:/.........but i don't know what to put.
Please help me, it seems a waste to have the chance to have the bonus merchants but ot be able to.

You should install it as if it were a program (via the setup.exe through add/remove programs). I does sound like your CD is dirty or scratched in which case it may be a whole lot less painful to follow Drifters advice. - Curdis !

As far as I know, the Collector edition and the Preordered each
put in the game only ONE of the two merchants!
But you can find the files everywhere, even in this site I think!
Download them (they're very small) and place them in the override directory, and you have them BOTH!!!!!!!!

Another detail is that the collector's edition cd also has the soundtrack of the game
