-In BG1 Trying to kill all these Flaming Fists that appear when we cause the mess. - without succes
-Killing all people in Athcala using pit fiends.
-Trying to pass through Jaheira's romance (4 or 5 games) without any bugs.

I was in the last chapter in BG1 and i was supposed to expose Sarevok, but i couldn't understand what to do in the palace.I didn't know i had to fight the dopplegangers and win.I had tried the battle many times but all dukes went down before i could do a thing.
So,i had quit BG1 for about a couple of months, and i thought i never gonna finish it.So one day my little cousins-10 and 14 years old-come to my house. And they ask me to show them some cool PC games.
-Well,i have a nice RPG but i can't finish it.I am stuck at the final stage.
-Can we see it?
- Ok,i will play this last fight i am stuck. Here we go,the nobles turn to dopplegangers, and they start the massacre.I try to fight back but....(battle starts)...kill this one....and this one with arrows....Battle axe of Mauletar is really cool...Wand of Flamestrike too....What the hell???..(battle is won in a few rounds,Sarevok exposed).
-I can go on.I can't believe it.
- Can we watch a little more? This game is so cool!

Heh... the most insane (and possibly worst) thing i've ever done in BG2 was to begin to obssess about Jaheira!!Originally posted by Manveru:

The most insane thing I had done was probably playing through Sahuagin City three times:
1.Solo Wizard Slayer wants Vorpal Blade. Save in Brynnlaw, before sail. Go:
Fight pirates, Gythianki, listen to all the dialogs, fight Ettin, go pick up the shark tooth to Beholder. Beholder meets me a bit earlier, I kill him, do the riddles, come to the chest - no Beholder to open it and WS cannot pick locks.
2.He still wants Vorpal Blade. Reload from Brynnlaw, before sail. Go:
Fight pirates, Gythianki, listen to all the dialogs, fight Ettin, go pick up the shark tooth to Beholder. Beholder says "NO!" Kill beholder.
3. Well, tough luck. Reload, return to Spellhold,go directly to Underdark, kill Balor... Someone recommends bashing the chest. Doh!
4. I want Vorpal Sword again. Reload...
At least I got the sword at the end

Am a solo sorcerer doin the Sewers under Copper Coronet to finish the Lilacor quest. I meet the filthy carrion crawler. Looks like a piece of cake to me. It's carrion crawler for crying out loud. I magic missiled it and it gets injured. Charges up to me. I still can't cast another spell and am waiting for the next round, so I try to bash the Crawler with my stick, it doesn't work! The Carrion Crawler stuns me. He then bashes me bit by bit as I stood watching, hoping that the stun effect will knock off soon. Got killed by a Carrion Crawler (is that a bad omen?).

Most insane thing i did was attack sarevok head on. Actually what happened was that i killed his friends before then attacked him. I had 4 fighters melee him. I killed him after 3 of them died and my pc just managed to escape while my theif too him out with arrows.

How about: Ctrl-Q the immortal cambion, move him into combat and suddenly finding myself facing hundreds of cambions, all clones of the original one.

I think the weirdest thing I did in BG1 was, after a few days of wandering boredly around, I discovered a cheat page, and gave myself like 50 million wands of Polymorph...Then I went to Nashkel and turned the entire town into squirrels! And because it's not really an offensive spell, nobody got angry! They just sat there and were...Y'know..._Squirrels_.
In BG2, the weirdest thing I did was kill Irenicus at the final battle before I actually got to him by pressing Ctrl+J (Or whatever the cheat is), just to see what would happen. When I got to him, when I held my cursor over him, it said: "Jon Irenicus: DEAD", but he was still fighting and casting spells and stuff! So I had to cast a resurrection spell & then a bunch of healing spells, and then kill him properly! It was all very repetative...

The most insane/fun thing I did in bg2 was attacking Firkraag with a level 9/10 party. Whole party was dragon food the first 5 times. I finally defeated him (after and hour and a half), but Minsc died by Firkraag's melee attacks (which make people explode and their portraits disappear; no ressurction). I was too friggin fed up with the dragon so I went on without Minsc for the game.
If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.

Had a friend over a while back, and I was showing him the game. Started a new one, with an ugly kensai. Set this guy to just stagger around Irenicus' dungeon, letting him bleed all over the place. Got to the room with the mephit portals, saved, and then threw him in there with 12hp. Somehow, he managed to survive with his AI script. That was a moment of total incomprehension.

In BG1. Went a bit berserk in Baldurs Gate. Got attacked by those damned Flaming Fist people. Discovered that one of them had a cool looking helmet but never had the time to identify it because I got killed. Planned my escape from FF with the helmet and succeeded - after trying a lot. Result: Decorative Helmet!!! Disappointed.

The first time i entered waukeen's promenade, after coming out of irenicus's dungeon. i entered the town and tried to pickpocket from some civilians. they turned hostile on me right away so i killed them both. then i venture into the temple there, and the priest is hostile, so i kill him as well. then the shop keepers are hostile, so i butchered him as well. i kept killing civilians until my reputation was like at 2. then those coweled enforcers came in after me, so needless to say i had to reload at that point. i was playing chaotic evil so i was trying to hard to be evil, i had to tone it down next time.
TIAX RULES ALL

Well, Yacobod, at least you properly represented your chosen alignment, Chaotic Evil, with about the only thing you could play as a result: a raving sociopath. Now you know, too, why Chaotic Evil is nonsense in an RPG. Nobody would train a raving sociopath, and no society would tolerate one for more time than it takes to spread the word.
The coolest thing was in a sister game, P:T. I'd developed the thief, Annah, into a relatively powerful ninja. There's one dungeon where a very powerful sword (Trias', for those who know) was guarded by a legion of elite warriors. During my first runthrough, I'd hacked my way around, receiving quite a bit of damage. During my second, I only used Annah. She'd hide, spot a target, attack (usually knocking half their hitpoints off), run, hide, wait for a guard or two to catch up, kill, run, hide, etc. It worked beautifully. And she never once got hit. Best integration I've seen of the backstab in a CRPG.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
@ fable thats almost the same thing i did with my assassin with the mindflayers
only i had no other choise.
Ok i could just reload and try again but i wanted to know if it would work.
And from that day on i just love backstab

Another insane thing:
I played BG2 with an evil party, wandered around in Athkatla, doing all the city quests, with a reputation of 1. Result: fought and defeated the petty law enforcers time and again til I amassed around 700,000 gold pieces and hit the experience cap at the end of chapter three. Then I left for Brynn Law...
