Mazzy Quest * Mug o' Ale

Post by hippocrates »

I have picked up Mazzy solely for her quest. I went to the dungeon - freed her and then returned to side quests in Chp. 2. I have seen several sources that say in 9 days her sister comes with the start of the quest, but that has yet to occur. I have had Nalia taken by Isea and Jahiera cursed but no sister for Mazzy. She has now been in my partry 11+ days. I am not sure if it matters but i just talked to the man who delivers the Trademeet quest info 2 days ago. Did finding out about Trademeet 2 days after Mazzy sister is supposed to arrive screw it up?? Any answer would be gratefully welcomed.

Also on a previous game (unfinished) i found a mug of ale in the Thieves hideout but no use for it. Anyone know about this?

thanks

Well, unless anyone wiser than me knows otherwise, (i'm sure there are those on the board who are) i think the mug is just a little something the designers put in there to liven things up and make the guild more lifelike, if i remember you can sell it, just treat it like a gem or a book, nice to look at but only good for cash.

@hippocrates,

As with most things patience seems to matter, the games has real time and game time timers so sometimes pause and go have lunch works.

It is actually the sister's boyfriend who comes to you.

@Mirakai Starnight, good to see you helping out! The ale is essentially as you say, except you can use it for a *dumb* (hint) quest elsewhere in the game. - Curdis

Real timer is how much time has the game been running.It includes playing time and "dead" time i.e. paused game.
As for a way to check it I think that there is CLUAConsole command that does so but generally pausing the game is the best solution.
