info needed on two things

Hi,

In the Shade Lord temple you can find Thombelten's journal. Does this item have a game purpose and if so, what do I do with it?

Also, the description of the statue of Amaunator states it appears to bew waiting for you to put something in it's hand (don't recall actual text). What, if any, is the item you should give it?

1) most unlikely. ive never heard of it being used for anything

2)yes, you can put something there. if you have a romance, and you have porgressed it far enough, you will loose him/her in ch 6. meaning killed. you can then take his/hers body + a certain heart, and resurect your love.

The jornal is part of the Ranger Stronghold quest, the second part will show up during one of the stronghold quest.(if you are not a ranger, it only a useless item)

1. The journal: it is a hint for one of the ranger's stronghold quests. You can throw it away if you know that the "treasure" is a few steps east to Tomblethen. If you are not eligible for the ranger's stronghold then the journal is useless to you. Throw it away.
2. The statue: if you have a romance, then your lover will be turned into a vampire during Bodhi Finale in ch. 6. You will be forced to kill your lover. After killing Bodhi, take your lover's body and the Bodhi's Black Heart, travel to the Temple Ruins and pout both items into the statue's arms. Your lover will be revived.
