help har daly (spoiler maybe)

hi all

just rescued har daly (or whatever hes called) and taken his stone back to him and started killing whatever comes out of the gate.

only problem is that har daly and his mates turn red and start killing me!!

ive done it before why cant i do it now?

another time the bounty hunters came throu the gate and killed them all and i couldnt get throu the gate at all!

Is this because ive got edwin in my group? i didnt have him in it last time!! Or is it because ive downloaded throne of bhaal?

please help

First, it could be because you've downloaded ToB, you aren't supposed to download it but buy it, so it could be bugged.
Maybe you used area spells, such as cloadkill, or fireball, these will hit them to.

Which mode you use for your game? If it's on Normal it's possible you have sent some magic missiles straight to Haer' Dalis party, and they turn hostile.

About the bounty hunters and the killing: you are supposed to help Haer' Dalis party by attacking everything that comes out from the portal. Try to remember this!

Does this mean you play on Normal mode? If yes, then yes! That's the problem.

Don't cast spells that affect areas (look at the spell description, it usually tells about the effect being cast on areas or creatures or the caster) in the vicinity of friendly or neutral creatures and the problem will not occur.

@angfox, To fix it you will have to reload and not use area of effect spells (As Phantom Lord said).

That Haerdis is a hog! Half the monster's kills were stolen by him. I was almost tempt to whack him myself!

Anyway, before you talk to him, surround the gate so he doesn't hurt anything coming out of that portal.
